As a Sales Development Manager at Conga, you will lead, inspire, and optimize a high-performing Sales Development team focused on driving pipeline generation through outbound efforts. You play a critical role in building the future of Conga’s revenue growth by developing strategic prospecting approaches, improving team productivity, and delivering high-quality, sales-ready opportunities. You are a people-first leader with a passion for developing talent and a strong bias toward results. Your ability to motivate, coach, and hold your team accountable will be essential to driving consistent performance and long-term success. Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll partner closely with Account Executives, Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Business Intelligence to ensure alignment and sustained momentum in pipeline growth. Our pipeline is our lifeline. As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate how the sales development function scales, empower your team to consistently perform at a high level, and make a measurable impact on Conga’s growth. Your leadership helps shape the foundation of the sales organization and ensures a steady, predictable flow of opportunities for the business.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including cold calling and pipeline generation
  • 2+ years of experience leading high-performing sales development teams, with a track record of exceeding team goals
  • Strong ability to engage with senior leaders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Comfort thriving in fast-paced, continuously evolving environments
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, and other inside sales technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise software is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with pricing optimization, CPQ, CLM, and/or the Salesforce platform will enable you to ramp quickly.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify areas of opportunity, and implement strategic improvements that drive results.
  • Proven skill in building a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

  • Managing, mentoring, and coaching SDRs to support their professional growth and performance
  • Holding the team accountable to meeting and exceeding pipeline creation goals and activity expectations
  • Fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Enhancing the quality and quantity of meetings set through structured coaching and enablement
  • Leveraging Salesforce and performance data to identify trends, uncover insights, and drive targeted coaching
  • Implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Refine messaging, qualification criteria, and workflows that support pipeline success and sales alignment.
