Position Purpose: Manage and oversee the interpretation and linkage of business needs and objectives in applications development and support activities. Manage day-to-day resources necessary to provide effective applications to support user needs and resolve problems. Work with departmental staff and users to identify requirements for development projects and support activities. Effectively integrating new technologies and develop project plans and schedules. Apply in-depth knowledge of systems to diagnose problems and find solutions to meet user requirements. Incorporate global and organizational best practices into applications. Use project management methodologies to effective manage projects. Create effective organizational structure and develop staff skills and competencies through training and experience. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Business, Information Systems or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years experience in systems analysis and/or Information Technology project management preferably in healthcare.
  • systems analysis or IT project management experience, preferably in healthcare required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the integration of medical and/or claims information and information systems, database modeling, project management, and application or systems development methodologies preferred.
  • Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff preferred.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred.
