About The Position

As Manager of BI Data Analysis, you’ll lead a team of analysts in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise BI dashboards and reports that drive business insights and support strategic goals. You’ll mentor team members, manage priorities, and ensure high-quality deliverables through strong leadership and collaboration. In this role, you’ll work with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable solutions, resolve data-related issues, and maintain alignment with data governance standards. You’ll oversee testing and validation processes, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvements in reporting and data quality. Your leadership will support both team development and the advancement of Safety National’s business intelligence strategy. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity where your technical expertise, strategic mindset, and collaborative approach will directly shape the success of Safety National’s enterprise business intelligence strategy.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Systems or a related discipline
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Snowflake, SSRS, Visual Studio, Power BI Service, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using data
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing projects in a collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years of experience in the insurance industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.
