About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing all Beverage and Pool operations at Harrah’s including staffing, scheduling staff and overall management and development of team members, vendor relationships, marketing, and entertainment initiatives for The Pool at Harrah’s Atlantic City. DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: Manager Beverage Assistant KEY JOB FUNCTIONS : Works with entertainment and marketing department to ensure Pool promotions and talent booked fits targeted demographic and are promoted through appropriate marketing channels. Ensures the operation at The Pool transition from day to night life smoothly. Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Security, and Culinary teams to ensure flawless execution for all events at The Pool. Responsible for all property beverage service meet sanitation, service, regulatory and Ensures that all Pool activities and job duties are performed according to established company, risk management and departmental policy and procedures Ensures staff conduct, guest service appearance standards are following established policy. Oversees marketing of VIP clientele; continuously evaluates and identifies potential business from existing and new clients. Responsible for cleanliness, sanitation standards, organization, guest service and safe conditions of all Beverage and Pool operations. Participates in the business plan and operational budget for areas of responsibility Research, develop and implement programs to improve service delivery methods Keeps direct reports well informed and meets with the team frequently for feedback. Enhances Beverage revenues by developing activities, cabana salesmanship and maximizing food and beverage sales Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies. Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks. Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years’ experience in a high-volume upscale food and beverage operation. Demonstrated experience in management of high-volume entertainment facility, multi-faceted hospitality operation and nightlife operation. Red Cross Certified in CPR and First Aid are required. High school diploma required; continued education or certifications in food and beverage a plus. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent leadership, time management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Ability to multi-task as well as manage multi-faceted projects to successful conclusion Extensive knowledge of Food & Beverage presentations and upscale service Ability to create Food/Beverage and entertainment experiences that resonate with our core customers Extensive knowledge of promotions, Social Media, and Marketing. Must be able to perform job duties effectively in a diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordinated operation. Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a high-volume upscale food and beverage operation.
