About The Position

UTA seeks a Benefits Manager that will oversee the design, administration, and continuous improvement of UTA’s benefits programs across the U.S. and global markets. This role will transition key operational responsibilities into a more strategic, scalable model, while maintaining a high-touch employee experience. This individual will serve as a critical partner to HR, Payroll, Finance and external vendors, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and thoughtful evolution of our benefits offerings. This is a full-time position with benefits and offers a salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually based on experience.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in benefits or total rewards
  • Strong knowledge of health and welfare plans, including regulatory and compliance considerations
  • Proven experience managing vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS platform

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with leave administration and retirement plans is a plus
  • Exposure to global benefits programs is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end administration of health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and point solution vendors
  • Lead Open Enrollment and ongoing benefits communications, driving employee engagement and understanding across diverse populations
  • Oversee eligibility, enrollment, and vendor file feeds; partner with HRIS and Payroll to resolve discrepancies and improve data integrity
  • Partner with the VP, Benefits on benefits strategy, renewals, and vendor selection, contributing to cost management and program optimization
  • Own vendor relationships and performance management, including monitoring service level agreements and holding vendors accountable
  • Serve as escalation point for complex employee issues, ensuring a high-quality employee experience
  • Analyze utilization, claims, and engagement data to inform decisions and develop presentations for leadership
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, including evaluation of cost drivers and financial impact of program changes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and document processes to improve scalability and operational efficiency
  • Support global benefits initiatives, including expansion, harmonization, and vendor coordination across regions
