About The Position

As a Manager – BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing wealth management industry expertise and insights to Asset & Wealth Management clients. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. While contributing to client cases, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected. Additionally, as a Manager – BCG Vantage you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the wealth management business, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the Asset & Wealth Management sector within the Financial Institutions Practice Area, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. As a Manager – BCG Vantage, you may line manage junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support. BCG’s Financial Institutions Practice Area helps clients navigate a rapidly evolving business landscape. We support clients in adapting to market evolutions, dynamic client expectations, digital disruption, and regulatory shifts. Within the Asset & Wealth Management sector specifically, we help firms develop differentiated value propositions, optimize cost structures, enhance client engagement, and future-proof operating models—building lasting competitive advantage in an increasingly complex market.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strategic consultant experience relevant to the U.S. wealth management industry required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum wealth management industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Strong business acumen, superior analytical & problem-solving skills, and conceptual framing capabilities
  • Exceptional PowerPoint & Excel skills; fluency in English
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
