As a Manager, Animal Relocation Driver you will work in the field alongside a dedicated team to participate in the relocation of more than 300,000 animals to date, making a direct and meaningful impact on the animals who need us most. Who We Are The ASPCA’s Animal Relocation department is tasked with providing effective, lifesaving, animal relocation and transport. Using the theories of supply and demand, relocation saves lives by transporting animals from under-resourced shelters in areas of oversupply where the chance of adoption is slim, to shelters where the chances of adoption are greater. What You’ll Do The primary responsibility of the Manager, Animal Relocation Driver is to safely and humanely transport dogs and cats in custom built, climate-controlled vehicles, on a weekly basis. The Manager, Animal Relocation Driver reports directly to the Senior Manager, Animal Relocation – Performance and Engagement and has no direct reports. Where and When You’ll Work Candidates must be located within a one-hour driving radius of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (Dallas, Texas) or Boston Logan International Airport (Boston, Massachusetts). This position requires extensive travel. Must have the ability and willingness to travel as described herein, by ground and air, including some weekends and occasional holidays. Transports occur weekly and are commonly 4-6 days in length; they may require travel up to 10 or more days. Generally, managers are scheduled for at least 2 days off between transports. What You’ll Get Compensation Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary ranges for this role are set forth below and may be modified in the future.
