About The Position

The Manager, Agile Delivery leads the organization's Agile Practice, serving as a strategic advisor to leadership and a hands-on coach for Agile teams. The incumbent is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling Agile methodologies across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Manager, Agile Delivery will build and lead a team of Agile practitioners, measure transformation progress, and drive organizational change to enhance delivery capabilities and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience working in an Agile Scrum delivery model.
  • 4-7 years of experience in an Agile environment that includes using SCRUM and other Agile techniques such as Kanban or Scrumban
  • 4-7 years of supervisory-level experience
  • 4-7 years of experience leading employees in a multi-team agile environment inclusive of project management
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification

Responsibilities

  • Builds, leads, and develops a team of Scrum Masters to support enterprise-wide Agile adoption.
  • Partners with leadership to secure buy-in, remove organizational impediments, and drive cultural change necessary for Agile success.
  • Designs and implements standardized Agile frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Creates and delivers comprehensive Agile training programs for various roles including executives, managers, and team members.
  • Coaches product owners, scrum masters, and development teams on effective implementation of Agile principles and practices.
  • Assists in the development and execution of the organization's Agile Delivery strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals and IT initiatives.
  • Coaches and develops a team of professionals to assist in their development and attainment of necessary skills to lift performance.
  • Monitors staff performance and drives performance improvement initiatives and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed upon standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
