Requirements

  • BSME/IE/Business Operations Management and 7+ years manufacturing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of formalized Advanced and Lean Manufacturing applications.
  • Extensive experience in New Product Development and Product Transfers.
  • Excellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment.
  • Demonstrated strong project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team building and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • MSME/IE/MBA and 5+ years of Advanced Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned to Product Roadmaps.
  • Work closely with Ironton Operations team and act as a secondary layer of support preparing the site and the local teams for Growth and New Product Launches delivering a turn key solution for each new product launch
  • Responsible for Regional Technical Capacity Analysis and Planning - Executing plans to enable site capacity for future growth aligned with Corporate initiatives
  • Responsible for End of Line Testing Equipment, Parameters, scripts and Capex associated
  • Develop Advanced Manufacturing Engineers with a steadfast commitment to mentoring and leading from the front, responsible for the team performance and growth.
  • Provide tactical leadership to ensure the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team will:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products
  • Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
  • Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
  • Identify, justify, pilot, and commission Advanced Manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices. Capital projects that support Growth, NPDI, Product Transfers, Technical Capacity and Footprint associated
  • Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
  • Responsible for the execution of Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables
  • Supports / Accountable for Manufacturing Prototype builds along with the local operation team
  • Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
  • Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
