About The Position

We are currently seeking an ADM Onboarding Manager to join our Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team! Our team is at the heart of the client experience, dedicated to transforming complex alternative investment data into actionable insights. You will lead a high-performing onboarding team, ensuring that our clients’ transition into our ecosystem is seamless, efficient, and high-touch. You’ll develop a deep mastery of the alternative investment landscape, using that knowledge to refine our onboarding frameworks and exceed service level agreements (SLAs). Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $128,000 - $160,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Requirements

  • Experienced Leader: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, and have a proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Onboarding Expert: You have at least 5 years of experience in financial services or FinTech, specifically within Alternatives Data Management or complex client implementations.
  • Strategic Thinker: You don't just follow a checklist; you look at the "Big Picture." You have experience applying Value Stream mapping or similar methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Tech-Forward: You are proficient with CRM and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, Tableau) and are excited by the potential of AI to disrupt traditional data workflows.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You can distill complex technical onboarding hurdles into clear updates for stakeholders and clients alike.
  • Growth Mindset: You thrive in ambiguity and are constantly seeking ways to "level up" both your team’s performance and the departmental standard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Empower: Directly manage and mentor a team of onboarding specialists, fostering an inclusive environment that prioritizes professional growth, accountability, and a "client-first" mindset.
  • Master the Value Stream: Take a holistic approach to the onboarding lifecycle. You will identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to ensure we deliver high-quality data sets within established SLAs.
  • Strategic Execution: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams to align onboarding workflows with the broader business strategy. You will ensure that our "Alternatives Onboarding Process" is a competitive differentiator.
  • Scale with Automation: Act as an Automation and AI Enthusiast within the department, identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to accelerate data extraction and validation tasks.
  • Client Persona Advocacy: Tailor onboarding journeys to meet the unique needs of diverse client personas, from institutional investors to boutique wealth managers, ensuring our platform’s value is realized immediately.
  • Performance Tracking: Surface and analyze key performance metrics. You’ll be responsible for reporting on team capacity, velocity, and data accuracy to executive leadership.
