JOB SUMMARY An Assistant plays a crucial role in various sectors, providing essential support and services. In this role, you will work closely with the CSR and ADM departments. Department Goals, Strategies, and Procedures Administrative Tasks Perform data entry, complete paperwork, photocopy, and handle other office duties to support team members. Create job jackets and print work tickets for Production Supervisors as requested. Customer Service Assist customers with their needs and provide tracking information. Ensure a positive customer experience. Quality & Production Support Quality‑check Print Production job jackets to verify stock issues and confirm stock is properly issued by operators. Input occurrences into the Issue Reporting System to track opportunities for improvement. Training & Safety Coordination Coordinate equipment‑related training initiatives and facilitate training with employees (e.g., forklift, roll clamp, reacher, power jack, lock‑out/tag‑out). Coordinate with Production and the Safety Manager regarding safety initiatives, PPE, and health protocols. Know and follow all safety procedures. Report work-related injuries to your supervisor. Operate equipment safely. Organizational & Communication Expectations Handle multiple requests from department team members. Prioritize requests to maximize efficiency. Understand the escalation process and report problems to the Manager promptly. Communicate verbally or in writing any issues and status updates concerning jackets, mail, or stock pulls in a timely manner. Use email correspondence appropriately and efficiently. General Responsibilities Follow and support all department procedures and company policies. Understand and support the Company Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Business Attributes. Establish goals to improve personal and departmental performance. Play an active role in executing company goals that contribute to achieving the Company Vision. Use basic knowledge of PrintStream, the Inventory System, CRM, and other relevant software applications to support print production and company operations. Assist in planning for additional resources as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years of related Administrative Assistant experience and/or training, preferably supporting an industrial work environment.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop or kneel.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
