About The Position

The Accreditation Manager oversees COA accreditation activities to ensure compliance with COA standards and guidelines. This role leads the planning, preparation, and submission of COA documentation, coordinates internal readiness and external audits, manages corrective action plans, and partners with cross-functional teams to maintain evidence libraries, track timelines, and communicate status to leadership.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Services, Program Management, Public Health or similar fields.
  • Experience in accreditation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or a related field; healthcare/COA experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and success leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with COA and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and how to apply them within health care/human services settings.
  • Familiarity with document control systems, data management, and quality management software.
  • Stakeholder management and cross-department collaboration
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail and a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Change management and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with document management systems, and QA databases
  • Ability to interpret COA standards and translate them into actionable procedures

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the COA accreditation roadmap with milestones, timelines, and owners.
  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate COA self-studies, site visits, and renewal processes; gather, organize, and submit COA evidence of compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with COA; manage communications and timely responses to COA requests.
  • Monitor changes to COA standards and related regulatory requirements; update policies, procedures, and controls accordingly.
  • Lead internal readiness activities (mock surveys, gap analyses); coordinate cross-functional teams to address findings.
  • Work within the Quality Management department on tasks and projects assigned by the Quality Management Director.
  • Build and deliver training for staff on COA standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain a robust document control system and COA evidence library; ensure version control and easy accessibility.
  • Generate management reports and dashboards on COA readiness, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with IT/QA systems teams to optimize data collection, reporting, and analytics.
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of client information and accreditation materials.
