About The Position

The Manager of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Credit Collections at Amy's Kitchen plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This position is responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit & Collections, and Accounts Payable (A/P) departments, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a customer-focused culture. The manager will lead a team, drive process improvements, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a high-volume accounts receivable and accounts payable management position.
  • Experience in CPG, food industry, or manufacturing and international operations is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Mid to Top tier Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate activities of the Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, and Accounts Payable departments.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to staff.
  • Drive operational excellence and technological advancement in financial processes.
  • Lead the AR, Deductions, and Credit & Collections team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Establish and evolve deduction policies and KPIs; monitor aging, cash, and DSO goals.
  • Manage accurate and timely processing of monthly accounts payable expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and employees.
  • Perform financial and credit analysis regarding new customer applications and past due accounts.
