About The Position

The Accounting Manager oversees the general ledger functions of the company. Trains clerks and supervisors in general ledger and accounting processes. The Manager will interface with all departments concerning all financial data including operating financial statements and budgets.

Requirements

  • All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must register and maintain registration as a gaming employee in the State of Nevada pursuant to NRS 463.335.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office products or any other Information Tech platform associated with the job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews projected and actual changes to the budgeted information.
  • Assists in preparation of financial reports to be included in financial statements and reports for internal and external purposes.
  • Prepares operational and financial analysis of company operations and prepares recommendations to improve operating margin and cash flow.
  • Directs the activities of the inventory control and accounts receivable areas.
  • Analyzes inventory system reports, monitors and reviews inventory quantity levels and works with other departments in establishing Economic Order Quantity and par levels with user departments.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external control procedures.
  • Works closely with the Controller and Director of Finance to ensure all reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and according to standard approved accounting practices.
  • Regular attendance required.
