About The Position

The Manager, Accounting under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, Corporate Accounting, leads the day-to-day operations of the general accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy. This role oversees month-end close processes including financial statement preparation and analysis, manages key accounting areas—including intercompany transactions, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and asset leasing—and drives efficiency through the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems such as AX, D365, and OneStream. The Manager also supervises and develops accounting staff, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement across the accounting function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Req
  • 8+ years' experience with management or highly technical role. Required
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 and OneStream (or similar financial systems).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for affiliated companies.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide insight to management.
  • Oversee accounting for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and leased assets, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Manage and review intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain documentation to support journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Serve as functional lead for AX/D365 General Ledger administration and integration with submodules.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems, including AX/D365and OneStream for reporting and consolidation.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
  • Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Lead performance management, workload planning, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with tax and audit teams to provide schedules and documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards.
