About The Position

Works under the general direction of the administrator of the Crime Victims & Rape Crisis Center (CVRCC) and manages victim advocacy services across the agency. Responsible for supervision of program staff, program development and service delivery, program data analysis and evaluation, and compliance with grant and county regulations and state and Federal laws that govern programs within the CVRCC.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years experience in an increasingly responsible administrative capacity; AND
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, Program Management, or a closely related field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of related education, and/or experience.
  • PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
  • Knowledge of and significant experience in providing trauma-informed victim services.
  • Significant experience in program management in social services environment.
  • Significant experience in providing best practices for trauma-informed victim services.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers and staff as well as internal executive and community leaders from other agencies.
  • Ability to effectively supervise all direct services staff and lead by example.
  • Ability to publicly represent the agency and its programs via public presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages direct victim advocacy services.
  • Acts along with other members of the Senior Leadership Team or assigned team by Executive or Deputy Director.
  • Provides administrative, policy and operational oversight to staff and contractors.
  • Assists in the development and design of measurable program goals and objectives based on program data (i.e. trends in data, community needs assessment).
  • Oversees coordination of program monitoring and acts along with the Executive Director for grant and programmatic audit reviews.
  • Assist leadership in compliance protocols with all grant programmatic functions.
  • Makes recommendations on personnel actions such as hiring, terminations, discipline, evaluations, and promotions.
  • Ensures program policies and procedures are updated in accordance with county and grant regulations.
  • Completes and submits necessary reporting information to all grantors, as required.
  • Compiles and analyzes monthly data reports and program outcomes and works to make any necessary updates or improvements to programs and services based on evaluation results.
  • Serves as a community leader in the victim services field, collaborating with other providers and providing training and technical assistance to CVRCC partners and allies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
