The Landscape Manger is responsible for overseeing the performance of landscape staff and supervising personnel. This role manages all phases of landscape maintenance and effectively oversees shop resources, including personnel, supplies, services, equipment, budgets, and inventories. The position performs hands‑on landscape maintenance work, administers the shop safety program, prepares reports, estimates time, materials, and labor costs, and recommends equipment purchases. The role also supervises snow removal operations and coordinates all landscape maintenance activities and functions. This position typically works 1st shift but may be required to adjust shift, hours, days, and/or work location as operational needs dictate. The role is also subject to 24‑hour emergency calls. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required. In accordance with the Emergency Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.17, this position is designated as an alternate.
