About The Position

The Management Resources Practice Group Vice President is a primary subject matter expert (SME) including execution of the MR Go-To-Market Strategy, and the tools and technology in support of the Robert Half Operating Model such as AI, SalesForce, DOMO, and other licensed business development and recruiting tools. The Practice Group Vice President will share best practices and performance enhancements, in support of revenue growth and increased market share. The Practice Group Vice President will work consultatively with senior field management, at the direction of the Executive Director. The Practice Group Vice President will provide virtual support and may be required to travel up to 25% of their time, within the North American branch network, as a Practice Group expert focused on working with field teams to improve business development and recruiting results, and drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience as a high performing, high potential Talent Solutions professional
  • Prior Talent Solutions experience in a leadership role (Practice/Branch/Regional Director or Practice Group VP)
  • Practical knowledge of MR Practice Group Go-To-Market Strategy, operating models, and tools
  • Prior Business Development experience strongly preferred, including experience selling to senior level buyers
  • Ability to provide impactful virtual support to field production teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, depending upon the needs of the business
  • Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication (Written and Verbal) skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and coach others
  • Self-starter with initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong track record of driving results
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current technology and business transformation initiatives, with ability to act as a subject matter expert
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a competitive analysis, utilizing data and metrics, communicate insights and trends and make a data driven recommendation a plan to move forward.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry, competitors and internal RH operations.
  • Proven experience managing in a matrixed environment, with ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with leaders and partners at all levels.
  • Strong relationship building skills to align efforts with internal partners (Practice Groups, Enterprise Accounts, Protiviti), including global teams.
  • Able to work strategically and in detail, simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior field leadership and the ED on business development, talent acquisition, and overall growth strategies for the Practice Group, including elevated client and consultant messaging and alignment with Protiviti and the Managed Solutions business.
  • Communicate and support the Practice Group specific strategies to our Talent Solutions teams.
  • Analyze operational results, industry trends and best practices and make recommendations to ED and Sr. Field Leadership on the operating model, new service extensions or technology opportunities to promote growth and innovation.
  • Gather, analyze and implement best practices across the practice group
  • Participate in operational, technology and training task forces, as assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Partner with Field Learning team to develop Practice Group relevant training content, and lead or co-facilitate Practice Group FLD trainings, as directed by the Executive Director based on agreed upon priorities.
  • In conjunction with local management, work with Executive Director and HR on retention and performance coaching, communicating expectations and measuring performance ramp up.
  • Identify action steps and support needed to increase performance and support the ramping up of new hires within the first year.
  • Conduct Field Branch Visits and evaluate Practice Group results to identify opportunities to provide value through guidance and consultation.
  • Adopt, promote and display a consultative approach when supporting field managers and Practice Group staff, determining objectives prior to engaging with the branch staff.
  • Identify Branches and Practices that require additional support and guidance to achieve target.
  • Develop a workplan; discuss, agree and execute the strategy with local leadership.
  • Determine whether support should be virtual or in-person.
  • Identify underdeveloped companies, territories or industries and develop a plan to increase market penetration.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for recruiting and desk efficiency, including recruiting sources, interviewing strategies and job order control.
  • Actively participate in client visits and interviews with Talent Solutions professionals during the branch visits
  • Lead Role Plays with Talent Solutions Professionals to help them accelerate their development.
  • Reinforce the hiring model for Practice Group Talent Solutions professionals and Practice Directors by disseminating best practices for recruiting and hiring staff members.
  • Promotes and supports an inclusive work environment where diversity and inclusion are championed.
  • Supports and encourages adoption of the Robert Half Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program.
