Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as a project leader responsible for the successful planning, scheduling, and completion of multiple operations planning and improvements projects. Utilizes a systems methodology to analyze organizational systems and processes, to make recommendations for operation improvements and to coordinate the implementation of changes, working through individual and team approaches. Coordinates and supervises the work of a project team. Reviews and coordinates team member work plans. Facilitates and guides redesign teams and process improvement teams. Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments. Assists in analysis of facility needs including work flow analysis, space programming, functional layout design, and simulation technology.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Three years directly related work experience.
  • Masters degree may substitute for experience.
  • Experience as a project leader.
  • A working knowledge of multiple computer software applications.
