About The Position

The President of Wolfe Research is looking for a confident, motivated, and detail-oriented associate with strong administrative and problem-solving skills. Applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment, where they will develop a strong understanding of finance and corporate practices. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize and execute tasks and projects without supervision. Prior experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required, including the ability to chart and use pivot tables. The Management Associate will work directly with the firm’s President and other senior managers, managing tasks relating to the President’s core strategic initiatives, business development, and firm partnerships. Within this role, the associate will frequently be entrusted with sensitive information, requiring a high degree of confidentiality. The associate will also be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties, including calendar management, expense reporting, and booking travel. The associate will regularly coordinate scheduling on behalf of the President, various teams, and employees across departments, as well as externally with clients, vendors, and other firm partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University with a strong academic track record
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of all major actions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.)
  • Ability to create financial models used for revenue forecasting and strategic planning
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proactively handle regular activities and follow up without prompting
  • Exhibit a high degree of motivation, sense of urgency, and professionalism
  • General interest in financial markets with a familiarity of equity markets and the institutional equities marketplace
  • Demonstrated academic ability with a minimum 3.5 GPA

Responsibilities

  • Daily work within Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint
  • Heavy use of CRM platform, Salesforce, and additional internal databases to complete critical functions
  • Book travel and prepare expense reports, maintain the President’s calendar, and schedule meetings
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information
  • Prioritize conflicting needs and ensure follow-through on all projects, deadlines, and communication
  • Participate in ad hoc group projects to help improve the operations of the greater sales team
  • Ability to work independently with little direction; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; meet schedules and timelines; work confidentially with discretion; interpret, apply and explain firm policies and procedures; analyze situations accurately and recommend effective course of action.
