About The Position

As the Executive Support Specialist 2 you will provide confidential support the Superintendent by managing daily office operations, ensuring communication flows effectively, and helping keep priorities and projects on track. You’ll handle confidential information with professionalism, coordinate schedules and meetings, assist with budget activities, and contribute to the overall organization and efficiency of the Superintendent’s Office.

Requirements

  • One year of experience performing administrative duties in support of agency projects or programs. Qualifying experience would involve data collection and analysis; project evaluation and/or analysis; interpretation and application of laws, rules, and regulations; or similar experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks with a heavy workload and competing deadlines to ensure timely completions
  • Ability to compose and formulate high level correspondence, reports and other written documents
  • Experience maintaining supervisors' calendars, including accepting/declining and scheduling meetings and travel arrangements
  • Proven ability to track expenditures, prepare financial summaries, and support budget planning activities
  • Proficient in tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Managing correspondence, preparing reports, summaries, and research materials that support planning and decision-making.
  • Research, compile, and disseminate information to all SRCI staff on behalf of the Superintendent.
  • Screen visitors and callers, provide information, resolve concerns, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Assisting with budget monitoring, expenditure reports, and financial documentation.
  • Participating in management meetings, recording minutes, and tracking follow‑up actions.
