About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst V - Process Improvement & Technical Writer to support EOIR/BIA in Falls Church, VA. The Management Analyst V supports process improvement efforts and technical documentation across multiple program areas. This role involves analyzing current workflows, designing optimized processes, and developing clear, comprehensive documentation to support organizational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in process improvement or quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Visio for creating flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, non-routine assignments, either as standalone projects or as components of larger initiatives.
  • Plan, research, and document existing business processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate with personnel across various offices to resolve issues and align project activities.
  • Review, analyze, and integrate processes to support operational effectiveness.
  • Document and analyze current work processes to improve communication and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of flowcharting methodologies, including Linear, Swimlane, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Define business objectives and identify opportunities for improvement (e.g., cost reduction, cycle-time improvement).
  • Conduct ‘As-Is' process analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Design optimized ‘To-Be' workflows aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, including system updates and staff training.
  • Promote continuous improvement by monitoring process performance and identifying further enhancements.
  • Develop, write, and edit clear and concise materials, such as process documentation, reports, briefs, proposals, and manuals.
  • Produce high-quality technical and administrative publications describing work methods, procedures, and new processes.
