We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our radiology team. Candidates must be ARRT registered radiologic technologists with a strong interest in pursuing certification in mammography. This trainee position offers both didactic and clinical training to prepare you for a successful career in mammography.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program, ARRT registered
- Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
- Must have active state licensure, where applicable
- 0 to 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic (X RAY) Technologist
Nice To Haves
- Strong interest in obtaining mammography certification
- Working knowledge of radiologic procedures and standards
- Skill in operation of radiology equipment
- Working knowledge of computers, software applications, technology and peripheral office equipment
- Customer service background and focus
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing mammography procedures under the supervision of a certified mammography technologist.
- Prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate mammography equipment and adhere to established protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mammography.
- Follow all regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by the ARRT and ACR.
