About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, and continually growing institution, expanding the quality and reach of its care to patients and communities. This position requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or the ability to competently perform Quality Control (QC) related to mammography. The role also involves performing all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, and working in areas that demand autonomy and indirect supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience in mammography
• One (1) year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography
• Experience in Clinical Research setting

Responsibilities

• Perform stereotactic biopsy and/or competently perform QC related to mammography
• Perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms
• Work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision
