Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment. Summary of Essential Duties: As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will perform a broad range of scans/procedures from basic to somewhat complex relative to a specific patient population and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area. This includes needle and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic breast biopsies. You will exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education and maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting any safety concerns. The primary schedule for this position will be weekend coverage with some weekday shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Mammography program required
  • ARRT(R) (M) certifications required
  • State of California Mammography certification required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of Mammography experience preferred
