Ultrasound Tech - Per Diem - 8-Hour Evening Shift

We would be happy to hear from you. Each year, almost 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures are performed and interpreted at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our radiologists & imaging specialists are board certified by the American Board of Radiology in their respective subspecialties. Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment. Summary of Essential Duties: Perform a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex (abdomen, pelvic, small parts, pediatrics, musculoskeletal) Assist physicians in performing procedures, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area Exercise your cultural competency in providing patient education Maintain a safe environment while identifying and reporting any safety concerns Days/Hours: Mostly to cover weekend evening shifts
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program required
- ARDMS OB/GYN or Abdomen certification required
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech required
- Experience in a hospital setting required
