About The Position

MAMMOGRAPHY, LEAD , MIT Health , oversees the technical operations of the Radiology department to ensure that mammography exams and radiologic imaging meet MIT Health standards and expectations as well as state and federal regulatory requirements; works closely with the manager to communicate effectively with patients as well as other members of the health care team; provides for the emotional, physical well-being, and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality; is the point person for technical questions; and well perform mammography and radiology exams. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Registry Certifications in Radiography RT® and Mammography RT(M) certification from a recognized accredited institution
• Massachusetts license with no constraints
• Certification from a recognized agency
• Massachusetts licensed in Radiography/ Mammography
• a minimum of four years as a Licensed Radiology / Mammography Technologist
• proven detailed knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA, ACR, state, and federal regulations as well as the ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Safety
• BLS/CPR
• proficiency in tasks employing arm/hand steadiness
