Mammographer Tech- AMI (FT- 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift)
About The Position
This position could be at either the Advanced Medical Imaging at Cottonwood Clinic or Advanced Medical Imaging at Bozeman Health. Position Summary: Provides health care services to assists in diagnosis or treatment. Performs Mammography procedures, interventional procedures and Bone Densitometry imaging and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited X-Ray program or equivalent
- Montana Licensure (Radiologic Technologist)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- American Heart Association BLS required within 60 days of hire
- Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts.
- Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality.
- Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Mammography certification preferred.
- 1 year of post school experience in mammography
Responsibilities
- Performs all mammography procedures, including Screening, Diagnostic, and Breast biopsies.
- Participates in QC and QI processes to maintain certification, accreditation, and quality standards established by Coordinators and Medical Director.
- Assist Radiologist and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
- Willingness and ability to cross train into Bone Densitometry.
