About The Position
Reporting to the Lead Technologist and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs a variety of mammography procedures that utilize radiation, while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
- Previous radiologic technology experience preferred.
- Prior mammography experience strongly preferred.
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required or Temporary Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of MA required.
- Currently registered as R.T.(M)(ARRT) or registry-eligible R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) within 6months of hire.
- While not R.T.(M)(ARRT) must have a current Mammography Permit in the Commonwealth of MA
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to maintain confidential information required
