About The Position

At Draycott Nursing & Care, we care about care! We are looking for a Male Carer to join our team… is this you? As a carer with Draycott Nursing & Care, you will help with the day-to-day care of our clients in their homes, assisting with personal care, meal preparation & serving, daily activities, care plans, and lots more. If you enjoy caring for people and making a positive difference in their lives, this could be the ideal role for you. A friendly and compassionate attitude, along with an understanding and respectful approach to those who need support, will make you a strong candidate for this position. As a carer with us, you can make a real difference to the lives of our clients, giving them the support they need to live independently in their own homes.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 - 12 months’ professional care experience
Flexible availability
Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service)
Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Experience in complex care would be an advantage

Responsibilities

Communicating effectively with the client and building a strong, lasting relationship
Working closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for our clients
Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client via our care management app
An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
Observing and following Draycott Nursing & Care’s Health and Safety policy
