About The Position

As a Make-Ready Technician, you’ll be the key player who transforms recently vacated apartments into move-in ready homes. Your work ensures every new resident’s first impression is a great one. This role involves repairing surfaces, replacing fixtures, testing appliances, changing HVAC filters, touching up flooring and carpet, and applying fresh paint to get apartments sparkling clean and move-in ready. You will also support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs and property upkeep and interact with residents professionally on-site. This is a full-time role for someone who takes pride in making apartments look and feel like home. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, or make-ready experience.
  • Detail-Oriented (You notice the little things that make an apartment shine for its next resident).
  • Reliable & Responsible (You show up on time, follow through on tasks, and own your work).
  • Team Player (You’re willing to jump in and help wherever needed).
  • Valid Driver’s License (For using company vehicles or picking up supplies off-site).
  • Treats all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care.
  • Demonstrates a natural disposition towards personal and public safety.
  • Operates from a place of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
  • Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and materials needed to maintain residential buildings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
  • Treats everyone with respect and dignity.
  • Accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, takes initiative and maintains confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably in property management or hospitality.
  • Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting in a commercial, residential environment, including general handyman work, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing.
