The maintenance worker performs janitorial duties including, but not limited to: emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, and cleaning windows. In addition, the Maintenance Worker will assist with ensuring enforcement vehicles are properly maintained, delivering motor vehicles to repair facilities when necessary, performing minor repairs and adjustments on motor vehicles if necessary, helping to maintain records of vehicle repairs and maintenance, and assists with maintaining automotive supplies. The Maintenance Worker will also be responsible for maintaining the facility and surrounding grounds in a neat, clean manner by performing general landscaping, and completing other duties as assigned. Under direction of the Field Support Sergeant, the maintenance worker is accountable for the maintenance of the building and grounds and assisting with the vehicle fleet.
