About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Worker to join our team in Chester, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing existing systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and functional work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency, professionalism, and a commitment to quality workmanship while performing a variety of maintenance tasks across our facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of experience in maintenance, facilities management, or related field
Proficiency in operating and maintaining hand and power tools
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly and work at heights when necessary
Valid driver's license
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to extend equipment lifespan
Operate and maintain various tools and equipment safely and effectively
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff and management
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and parts used
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards while performing duties
Perform general facility upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor construction tasks
Collaborate with other team members and external contractors when necessary
Report hazardous conditions and recommend improvements to facility safety and efficiency
Operate and maintain various landscape equipment and grounds
Assist with snow removal and shoveling
