About The Position

To assist the Facility Supervisor in maintaining a safe and clean school environment for students and staff.

Requirements

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License

  • Proof of Mumps, Measles and Rubella, (MMR) vaccination.
  • Valid government issued identification or current work visa with expiration date.
  • Unofficial copies of transcripts will be accepted with applications, official transcripts will be due upon job offer
  • Transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by a full translation, ( word for word ) by an acceptable translator.
  • Additionally, each foreign transcript must be evaluated for equivalency to United States accredited coursework by an acceptable agency such as those agencies certified by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, (NACES).
  • Applications containing foreign transcripts that are not accompanied with the above required documentation will not be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and maintain open communication with the Facility Supervisor to provide safe and positive student and staff environment.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks, paints fences and outbuildings.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
  • Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
  • Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
  • Ability to drive white fleet vehicles.
