About The Position

Morgan Properties offers a Full-Time Paid Training Program called "Fix It Forward Program" to train individuals to become Maintenance Technicians. No prior apartment maintenance experience is needed. The program is designed for dependable individuals who are ready to learn and enjoy hands-on work. Participants will receive on-the-job training, company-paid EPA & CPO certifications, and raises as they progress through the training levels. The program typically lasts 3 to 6 months and has three levels: Beginner (focus on safety, tools, basic tasks), Intermediate (more repairs, less supervision), and Advanced (complex work, ready for a permanent role). Upon successful completion, trainees will transition into a permanent Maintenance Technician role with full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply HVAC basics
• Learn and apply plumbing basics
• Learn and apply electrical basics
• Perform appliance repair
• Execute apartment turns
• Perform groundskeeping duties
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Provide customer service
• Adhere to safety procedures
