Position Summary: Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager in the maintenance of facilities, including but not limited to buildings, HVAC, equipment, machinery, and grounds. Essential Functions: Assist in planning budgets and scheduling facility modifications, including cost estimates. Initiate planned facilities maintenance programs. Assist in preventive maintenance of facility equipment. Assist in services necessary with construction, remodeling and installation projects. Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
