About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing advanced industrial maintenance tasks across the plant. This role includes conducting emergency and scheduled repairs on production and packaging equipment, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • No active Written Warning or Above Corrective Action (Current Team Members)
  • Four (4) or more years of relevant industrial maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of experience, technical training, or certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, indoor/outdoor settings, and heights up to 50 feet.
  • Basic computer and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of proper PPE use and safety practices.
  • Two (2) or more years of PLC and HMI programming experience, including Basic understanding of PLC systems, Programming, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Prior experience with automation, robotics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • In‑depth knowledge of complex electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with electrical principles (Volts, Amps, Ohms).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and control circuits.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic AC electrical problems.
  • General knowledge of vertical mill and horizontal lathe operations.
  • Advanced welding and fabrication skills.
  • Expert‑level proficiency with fabrication equipment.
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment for construction and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform industrial maintenance throughout the facility.
  • Conduct emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
  • Perform electrical maintenance on control circuits, three‑phase motors, VFDs, AC/DC drives, and power supplies.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Repair and maintain packaging and production machinery.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Maintenance as needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Comply with all safety policies and use appropriate PPE for each task.
  • Train and support team members across lower maintenance levels as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
