About The Position

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of facility infrastructure by performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. This position requires hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions promptly. The technician will be responsible for maintaining plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to prevent downtime and extend the life of facility assets. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance work involving plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor.
• Strong communication skills to effectively talk and hear instructions and safety information.

• Certification or training in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and carpentry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural components.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to mechanical equipment, plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and drywall damage.
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate installation and repair of components according to specifications.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, frames, and other wooden structures within the facility.
• Climb ladders and access elevated areas safely to perform maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used to support asset management.
• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to coordinate maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks during maintenance operations.
