About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with 16 plants across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The company converts aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for various industries, utilizing advanced technologies to process scrap and dross and reduce residual waste. This position is for a Maintenance Technician on the night shift with a rotating schedule, offering direct hire opportunities, a competitive starting wage of $31.17/hr, scheduled increases, and a skills training plan, along with a full benefit package within 30 days.

Responsibilities

Perform all maintenance related duties including new installations, trouble-shooting, welding etc.
Employees must be able to work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, and hand and power tools.
Understand pertinent diagnostic tools.
Read and understand blue prints.
Diagnose and correct problems.
Install, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean and service Electrical/electronic/pneumatic, recording/control.
Plan working procedures using prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals and codes.
Perform layout, assembly, and wiring of component parts in installation, replacement and repair of systems.
Conduct and record tests such as temperature and combustion surveys.
Erect and remove ladders and scaffolding used in connection with work; operate required material handling equipment/vehicles.
Keep necessary records and logs such as Maintenance work orders, calibration and calculation records.
Follow all safety rules, and company policies.
Meet all Monthly Safety Leading Indicator Requirements as spelled out in the Rewards and Recognition Program
