We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a small team in charge of upholding the cleanliness and maintenance of apartment buildings. You will be heavily involved in the general maintenance of apartment buildings. In this role, you will need to be professional, and able to work independently and responsibly while observing all health and safety guidelines. Your responsibilities may include painting, cleaning, basic plumbing, and repairs. You should have experience utilizing a multitude of tools and an understanding of basic maintenance issues.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a technician or carpenter
Knowledge of HVAC

Responsibilities

Upholding the cleanliness and maintenance of apartment buildings
Performing general maintenance of apartment buildings
Performing maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
Maintaining heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Inspecting alarm systems (fire, protection) and scheduling repairs when needed
Performing manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Undertaking activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
Conducting general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Surveying buildings and repairing mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Performing other assigned duties
