About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and processes to support the site's business goals and objectives. Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Ability to troubleshoot control circuits Install electric motors Basic VFD programming Completes work orders in a safe and appropriate manner. Maintains open communication with Supervisors, Maintenance Personnel and Plant Manager Provides support to other maintenance technicians on all shifts. Works within scheduling requirements. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts. Tracks spare parts usage. Performs preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Detects faulty operations and defective material and reports any unusual situations to proper supervision. Performs other required tasks as assigned Familiar with manufacturing, safety practices, and procedures Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
