The company values safety, integrity, and operational reliability. This role is for a hands-on Maintenance Technician at the Hanford, California facility. The position involves troubleshooting equipment, rebuilding rotating systems, and supporting safe plant operations, with a focus on keeping industrial systems running efficiently. Welding experience is highly beneficial but not required. The role offers opportunities for hands-on impact, skill expansion (especially in welding), technical growth in equipment alignment and preventative maintenance, and ongoing training in hazardous materials handling and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required
A strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills
Computer proficiency, including MS Office and SAP.
Willingness to work an 8-hour day shift (with weekends/overtime as needed) or 12-hour rotating swing shift (days/nights/weekends/holidays as scheduled; training on 8-hour schedule)
Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely and walk up to ¼ mile throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plant maintenance (pumps, tank agitators, conveyors, elevators) preferred.
Welding experience with stainless steel and carbon steel using Stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or MIG (GMAW) is highly preferred but not required.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of chemistry is a plus.
Ability to communicate professionally with team members at all levels.
Knowledge of HAZWOPER, OSHA, PSM, RCRA and DOT regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform plant troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Rebuild and align rotating equipment, including pumps and other mechanical systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain detailed equipment files.
Maintain sufficient spare parts inventory and keep maintenance shop and storage areas clean and organized.
Assist in developing and improving plant maintenance procedures.
Troubleshoot and mitigate plant process issues in partnership with operations.
If experienced, support fabrication and equipment repair using Stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding techniques on stainless steel and carbon steel.
Complete HAZWOPER training and properly contain, clean, package and label hazardous waste in compliance with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HM-126 and DOT regulations.
Conduct all business in a professional manner aligned with company values and integrity.

Hourly Pay Range: $29.26 – $31.21 per hour (based on experience, skills and qualifications)
