MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
About The Position
Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center (ICCHC) and its satellite health centers are the leading providers of primary health care services in the communities we serve, including individuals who are both insured and uninsured. ICCHC provides multi-disciplinary, comprehensive health care services, including medical care. ICCHC is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for its Lafayette Parish and St. Martinville, LA locations. This position will perform timely repairs and maintenance of facility, grounds and equipment. Checks, records and/or reports conditions and functioning of utilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and follow instructions
- Six months of technical training in facility maintenance or two years experience in skilled trades, i.e., carpentry, plumbing, electronics, heating/cooling
- Skills, trade or aptitude for mechanics
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance
