Delta Faucet Company in Lapeer, MI is looking for an exceptional Maintenance Technician to work for our third shift operations. Work schedule is based on core hours of 1045pm – 715am, Sun/Monday – Friday. Being reliable and meeting our attendance expectations is required, as is flexibility to work both daily and weekend overtime hours as scheduled. The Delta-Lapeer facility manufactures plastic bathtubs, shower bases and shower wall units. Essential job functions include but are not limited to: Respond to machine downtime notifications to support production operations. Debug and repair location sensors and light curtains Build electrical panels, install power drops, wire motors. Install and service electronic equipment. Load and troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic – Allen Bradley, Siemens and DeviceNet Program, troubleshoot and repair of Fanuc robots. Perform preventative maintenance. Other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience/Skills: Multi-discipline skills with Robotics, Machine Repair and Electrical systems Prior experience with extrusion and/or vacuum forming equipment is a plus. Proficiently use laptop computer, including MS Office programs & SAP. Must have flexibility in working hours to attend educational courses outside of normal shift times, work up to 12 hours (early or late) and weekends are often required. Must be able to: Lift, bend and reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level. Lift, push and pull weights of up to 25lbs. Use hands to manipulate tools, parts and machine controls. Work on elevated platforms, and in small spaces. Use vision to inspect parts, read labels and inventory sheets. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
