What We Offer You: Work Boot Program with Red Wing Shoes (No cost to employees) On-Call Stipend Gas and Phone Allowance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Company Paid Life Insurance and Long Term Disability 401lk with Generous Employer Match Paid Training Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Discount for Home Rentals after 90 Days Employee Assistance Program Essential Functions: Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide and seek and seals Maintain property grounds (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Assists with preventative maintenance such as filter changes, clean ups, etc. Assists in regular inspections of grounds, buildings, plumbing, electric, equipment, etc. Assists with tool maintenance and supply inventory Respond to maintenance tickets quickly and professionally Follow through with repairs until each ticket is completed and closed Picking up trash/debris on the property Reporting all maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor QualificationsTo Be Successful, the Candidate Should Possess: A minimum of 2-3 years as a maintenance technician preferably in apartment complexes or townhomes, preferred Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, highly desirable All candidates must provide their own tools as well as have the ability to travel between properties Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills Strong working knowledge of proper tool usage, appliance repairs, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical Ability to stand, sit, bend, crouch, stretch, life, carry, lift and/or move objects over 5lbs. Basic computer skills required for maintenance ticketing, workflow management, and time and attendance reporting; experience with Real Page / One Site / Microsoft Word & Outlook highly desired and preferred The ability to work overtime and to be on-call as required The ability to run a snow plow and remove snow as necessary Previous safety training a plus We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
