About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems in a manufacturing plant. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports safe, efficient plant operations in compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations. The individual will perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, diagnose and resolve various mechanical and electrical issues, and respond promptly to breakdowns. They will also conduct routine inspections of plant infrastructure, support equipment installation and upgrades, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding, and diagnostic equipment
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize production delays.
Conduct routine inspections of plant infrastructure, utilities, and safety systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire extinguishers, alarms, etc.).
Follow and maintain preventive maintenance schedules; document work in CMMS or other tracking systems.
Support installation, calibration, and upgrades of machinery and equipment.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
Assist in inventory control of spare parts and request replenishments when necessary.
Collaborate with production teams to support efficiency improvements and process reliability.
