About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and addressing issues as they arise. Key duties include managing equipment changeovers to reduce downtime and increase efficiency, accurately documenting all maintenance activities, and handling glass as required for production. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment and undertaking additional projects assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Understand and apply the use of hand and power tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance procedures of manufacturing equipment.
• Perform maintenance as issues arise.
• Changeover manufacturing equipment, reduce changeover time, machine downtime, and increase machine efficiency.
• Document execution of maintenance activities as required in a timely and efficient manner.
• Handling glass as necessary for production matters.
• Maintain all work areas in a clean organized fashion.
• Additional projects as specified by Maintenance Supervisor.
