About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support safe, efficient, and reliable production of ready-to-eat popcorn products by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment within the Lincoln, Nebraska plant.

Requirements

• 1+ year mechanical and technical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment or associate’s degree in related field.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Welding experience and familiarity with basic machine tool operation.
• Willingness to continue technical education through courses, training, and seminars as needed.
• Commitment to following all safety, food safety, quality, uniform, and personal protective equipment policies.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, modify, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment across production lines.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation including temperature recorders, transducers, and electronic scales.
• Support production line changeovers, equipment startups, and line modifications.
• Perform welding, minor sheet metal work, basic machine tool operations, and facility maintenance as needed.
• Complete required maintenance documentation and follow all safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while communicating effectively with team members and contractors.
