We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team and play a critical role in keeping our food production operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your skills directly influence what gets made, how well it's made, and how quickly we recover when something goes wrong.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as an electromechanical technician or in a related hands-on mechanical role
• Associate's degree, equivalent certification in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a Journeyman's card preferred
• Solid working knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, PLCs, and control systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Hands-on experience with 24V and 120V systems, pneumatic/hydraulic components, fabrication, and TIG welding to 3A standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• A curious problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and is eager to build your troubleshooting skills
• Someone who takes ownership — you show up ready to learn and don't wait to be told what to do
• A strong communicator who works well across teams and keeps the right people informed
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to doing things the right way
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions while adhering to all safety protocols

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food manufacturing or a similarly regulated production environment a plus — but not required
• Relevant certifications (TIG, forklift, electrical, or mechanical) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive and emergency maintenance on electromechanical systems including conveyors, packaging machines, and automated production equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing 24V and 120V control voltage systems, including PLC diagnosis and repair
• Maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems and performing mechanical fabrication as needed
• Performing TIG welding to 3A sanitary standards for food-grade applications
• Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment, upgrades, and retrofits
• Implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and extend machinery life
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and communicating findings to management
• Collaborating with technicians, engineers, and production staff to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements
• Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
