About The Position

Alleima USA LLC in Clarks Summit, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The role involves performing mechanical or electrical maintenance operations, analyzing, preparing, planning, and carrying out small to medium-sized improvements on machines and equipment, and potentially leading actions performed by contractors. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, corrective actions, supporting planning and preparation, monitoring outcomes, and documentation. The technician is expected to work in accordance with standard operating procedures, achieve maintenance targets, follow quality and cleanliness standards, communicate operational status, adhere to safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements, and engage in continuous improvements and personal/operational development. Requirements

  • Possess previous industrial experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated competence in troubleshooting and diagnosis of a variety of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Show a high level of initiative.
  • Possess ability to work any shift and be available for emergency call and work when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school degree preferred.
  • Welding and/or fitting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Mechanical or Electrical maintenance operations.
  • Analyze, prepare, plan and carry out small to medium sized improvements on machines and equipment (major sized improvements if necessary).
  • If necessary order and take lead on actions performed by contractors.
  • Perform Preventive maintenance, corrective actions, supports planning and preparation, monitors outcome, documentation (outcome, root cause, time, improvements).
  • Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Achieve maintenance targets.
  • Follow quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate operational status and any deviations.
  • Adhere to Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.
  • Engage in continuous improvements and development on a personal and operational level.
  • Develop specific or expert competence within a specific area.
